Overall Policy
Almost every product sold here at Newbies Revenge is subject to our 100% money-back guarantee to customers unhappy with their purchases.The protocol for such items is as follows.
If you are at all dissatisfied with the product you have bought from us, simply send an email to support@newbiesrevenge.com. Describe, in as much detail as you are able, the issue you were encountering and whether or not you would like a merchandise replacement or a refund. Do NOT be concerned that you will be 'graded' on your comments. This is not an "essay exam." Regardless of what you tell us (and absent, of course, any obvious indications of damage willfully inflicted, post delivery, upon the item or items being returned), you will be getting either your money refunded or a merchandise replacement--period, end of story! By the same token, however, we would greatly appreciate whatever you can tell us, as that will help us determine whether or not to continue merchandising the item that you were unhappy with. Meanwhile, if you do prefer a merchandise replacement as opposed to a monetary refund, state whether you want a replacement of the exact same item with which you were initially experiencing your difficulties, or with a different item of comparable value. In either instance, upon receipt of these instructions from you, we will email you back a Return Merchandise Authorization number (or "RMA," as we refer to it), plus the address of the warehouse to which to return your disappointing purchase. In preparing this return, meanwhile, try to utilize as much as possible the product manufacturer's original packaging material that came with your purchase, including, if still available, the outer carton itself in which the merchandise had been delivered. Enclose with your return whatever paperwork had been provided with the delivery, in addition to any of the product's supplementary components or accessories (if such had been included). As soon as we have confirmed the return of these contents to the appropriate warehouse location, we will issue you the refund or merchandise replacement that you have directed.
Limitations & Exceptions
Within any twelve-consecutive-month time period, the "Overall Policy" above shall apply in its entirety for up to three merchandise returns per customer. For any additional such returns or merchandise replacements requested by the same customer, however, the customer himself (or herself) shall be responsible for any and all return shipping expenses involved. In addition, a restocking fee, amounting to 15% of the original purchase price of the item being returned, will be deducted from any applicable reimbursement amount to be extended, or subtracted from the merchandise value permissible should the customer in question desire a product replacement in lieu of a monetary refund.
One additional exception to the above protocol applies to the physically-sizable items that we sell here at Newbies which, under normal circumstances, would require more than one individual to lift, carry, load onto a motor vehicle or move and maneuver from one location to another. Products, thus, such as sofas or dining tables, heavy love seats or recliners, sizable patio furnishings or metal tool storage consoles and containers would be prime examples of these sorts of items. Within any twelve-consecutive-month time period, the protocol specified above under "Overall Policy" will, indeed, apply in its entirety as well to these kinds of items but only for one purchase of such a product per customer. Within that same twelve-month time allotment, any subsequent such purchases of this type of merchandise will likewise be eligible for a 100% refund (plus free return shipping) but only in the event that damage to, or breakage of, the merchandise in question can be verifiably demonstrated at the point of its initial delivery to the customer. Absent such verification, the customer seeking to return this subsequently-purchased merchandise (plus a refund or product replacement for same) shall remain fully responsible for any return shipping expenses involved, plus the 15% restocking fee as described previously. We apologize for any inconvenience that these exceptions may occasion but we at Newbies feel they are only prudent limitations for guarding against the economic consequences wrought by insincere purchasers and habitual refunders.
Finally, refund requests more than thirty (30) days from the date of delivery of the merchandise in question--whether "sizable" or not--will be entertained, but only on a case-by-case basis
Additional terms and conditions:
Unless specifically instructed otherwise, only return merchandise to one of our designated warehousing facilities via the United States Postal Service. Always ship "Priority"--NOT "Express"--Mail and retain your receipt for both tracking and reimbursement purposes. NewbiesRevenge.com will reimburse you in full for these expenses pursuant to no more than three (3) separate refund requests during any single twelve-consecutive-month time frame. Return shipping expenses connected with any additional such requests over that same one-year time period will, on the contrary, be entirely the customer's responsibility, including any and all risk of loss or damage to the returning merchandise while in transit back to the designated warehouse.
In the event, finally, of any return of merchandise to either a designated warehousing location as described above or directly to NewbiesRevenge.com at its home office location in Milford, New Hampshire, WITHOUT either (A) a Return Merchandise Authorization number having been emailed beforehand directly from us to the customer returning said merchandise or (B) all supplementary components and accessories originally included with the merchandise enclosed with the customer's return, Newbies Revenge.com retains the right either to refuse any refund whatsoever, or to issue such a refund, albeit minus a restocking fee. The restocking fee will in all instances be equal to either 30% of the returned product's original purchase price or, should the circumstances warrant, to the full retail value of the aforementioned missing components and accessories, whichever is the greater amount.
Non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
- Books with obvious signs of use
- CD's, DVD's, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records that have been opened
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery (unless otherwise acceptable by special agreement)
Refunds:
Once your return is received and your refund agreed to, a credit for the amount approved will be applied to your credit card or appropriate financial institution within ten (10) business days. If, after this time period, you have yet to be reimbursed, contact us forthwith at wheresmyrefund@newbiesrevenge.com and we will address (and resolve) the issue without delay.
Merchandise Replacements:
Once your return is received and your replacement agreed to, the merchandise you have requested (instead of any monetary refund) will be ordered within three (3) business days. Expect to receive your replacement approximately five (5) business days afterwards. If, by the end of that time frame, your new merchandise has still not arrived, promptly contact us at wheresmyreplacement@newbiesrevenge.com and we will address (and resolve) the matter without delay.
Reimbursement for Return Shipping Costs:
Either "snail-mail" us (see our Contact Us page) a photocopy of your Post Office receipt or scan the receipt into your computer, then send that to us as an attachment to an email addressed to returnshippingreceipt@newbiesrevenge.com. Subject to the limitations conveyed on this page above, under "Additional terms and conditions," we will reimburse you the full amount of this expense, either by physical check, sent out to you via the U.S. Mail, or direct monetary transfer into your PayPal Account, whichever you prefer. State this preference in either the "snail mail" you send us or the email you address to returnshippingreceipt@newbiesrevenge.com with the attachment of your Post Office receipt.
